Weight Loss Revision Surgery

Weight Loss Revision/Conversion Surgery

Surgery for the revision or conversion of previous weight loss surgery may become necessary for a variety of reasons. This type surgery is not only extremely specialized, but also technically challenging, and must be performed by a surgeon highly experienced in weight loss surgery.

Revision/conversion surgery is more complex and has a greater risk for complications than the primary procedure. Dr. King performs revision/conversion surgery after extensive evaluation of the patient. The decision to operate is made on an individual basis.
